Leviton C2618-I ivory phone wire junction block. Great for terminating the connections for your household phone wires. Wires are neatly organized in the protective case, making it easier to diagnose problems and make changes in the future. Has color coded terminals for connecting standard 6-conductor residential phone wire. Modular plug allows unit to be plugged in at demarcation block or at another modular jack within your home - or remove it to use the terminal block as a simple junction box. Features include:
Terminal strip, for connection of up to four line extensions, uses screws to terminate wires onto insulation displacement contacts so connections can be made without stripping the wire. But, if preferred, wire may be stripped and terminated under screw
Connects to telephone demarcation jack and acts as a starting point for inside phone system wiring
Block includes cover, terminal strip, mounting screws, and 12-inch, 6-Conductor cord with modular plug (RJ11)
